Number of functions in a worksheets

Hello,
it's really no big deal but, I was wondering if there is any sort of quick and dirty way to have excel 97 tell you how many formulas you have in any given worksheet. I've got one with many, many formulas and short of physically counting them myself, I was just curious exactly how many there were in it.
Thanks.

Manually...
From the file menu select.
EDIT/GOTO/SPECIAL
select Formulas and hit OK.
With all formulas selected, set the status bar to display a COUNT of the selected cells.

From VBA...
MsgBox (Cells.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeFormulas, 23).Count)
