Adding feet measurements

Hi All,
Is it possible to add:
100' + 25'
and get 125' as a result?

Sure. Why not just custom format your cells to display 0"'" (or whatever precision you want), then you can just enter as numbers.

If you have the values as strings, then:

=0+LEFT(A1,LEN(A1)-1)+LEFT(B1,LEN(B1)-1)
