Applying Conditional Formatting To A schedule?

I'm working on a Schedule with a couple hundred people and forecasting it out a couple months and am having trouble getting some conditional formatting to work with the table. The example is a 8 days (D3-L3 is 7/5-7/13). I would like the names of the people (in the column B4-B7) to be highlighted green if there is a "1", "IN", or "OUT" (in rows D4-D7) but only references the data in the column that matches todays date and have it update automatically day by day based on the current date.

Put this as the B4 conditional format formula and copy down

=SUMPRODUCT(($D$3:$L$3=TODAY())*(($D4:$L4="IN")+($D4:$L4="OUT")+($D4:$L4=1)))
