Can't see the "+"/"-" symbol in grouped columns

I have Excel 2013.
When I group columns together, I don't see the "+" sign at the top to expand/collapse the grouping.

What's going on?
 
Since you're having atypical Excel behavior, I'm inclined to recommend closing and restarting Excel. If that doesn't work: reboot your computer.
Let us know your progress.

Excel Facts

Can you post a screenshot or the workbook itself somewhere?

I assume you were checking the Options we mentioned with that workbook/worksheet active?
