Hi Everyone -
I'm trying to minimize my columns for printing (using "Fit All Columns on One Page"). One of my columns is a date that I have formatted as DDD, MM/DD - for example Mon, 7/10.
I've added CTRL+J after "DDD," hoping to wrap the text and reduce the column width, but it won't go any smaller than without the return.
Is this not possible?
I don't want to have to type it as text if I can help it.
Thanks for any advice.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Go to Format Cells>Alignment
Uncheck Wrap Text
Check Shrink To Fit and click OK
Manually adjust the column width (cannot use autofit)
Go to Format Cells>Alignment and check Wrap Text>OK
Thereafter, can adjust column width manually (still cannot Autofit)
