I currently use 15 different spreadsheets for my bank reconciliations. In each book are 12 tabs, one for each month: JAN 18 FEB 18 etc. At the beginning of a new year, I copy and paste the file and rename it for the new year. In each book, I replace the old year with the new and delete the old's data. However, when I get to the Tab name, I manually change the year for each month. There has to be a faster and more efficient way.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
There is....
If the entire workbook pertains to one year (eg 2018),
then you don't need the year in the tab name, do you?
Just Jan, Feb, etc
