combine two Conditional format rules in to one

Hi

I use the following in a Conditional Format rule to change the text font to red in a cell when a different cell has today’s date or a previous day in it
HTML: 
=$A$221<=DAY(TODAY())
This formula also turns the text font to red when a221 is blank.

How would I modify to keep the cell font from turning.
Now I have to use a second Conditional Format rule to keep the original font (black)

Not sure about your use of DAY() but that effectively combines them both.

Thanks It works great
I don't remember when, but I asked about making an if statement using the days of the current month.
HTML: 
=IF(AND(AA6>1,AB6<=DAY(TODAY())),+AA6,"")

I then tried it in a cond format and it worked

The cell that has the cond format will turn red on the day the invoice is due and stay thet way

each month i copy the range and modify it for the current month

it's hell when you get old, second thing to go is your memory :)

I asked here how i could enter just numbers instead of the actual date and was given the.....day(today()... to use in the if statement
That way I didn't have to enter the whole dd/mm/yyyy for the new month after I copied the range to a different area.

Ah. OK. DAY(TODAY()) will return a number in the range 1-31. If you have a new tab for each month then it's fine.
