Conditional Formatting based on $ Sign

Hi Friends,

just researched a lot regarding the below issue not getting it resolved , Could you please review and share the outcome please.

in the below scenario just need Column G whenever only $20.00 appears it should be no color except this all will be in green whether its $20.0 , 20 , $20.

i did try but if i type $20.0 it also pop up without color.

please help
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
are you formatting as dollar or just entering

=NOT(OR(cell="$20",cell=20,cell="$20.0"))

i'm assuming its being picked up as TEXT

rule one
then you could set format to be no colour and just fill the cell
or
rule two
cell <> ""
and colour green

and use in that order, and stop id true

thank you for the response i am still not getting it i have tried with cell value not equal to <>"$20.00" and select the format color green nothing happned.

i have applied formatting on column H

let me just recheck

no colour or green
confused now i have re-read
perhaps a sample put onto a share like onedrive or dropbox may help
or use jeanie to copy the sheet into the forum
