Trying to get a check box, which is linked to the cell concealed behind it, to have conditional formatting so that when the check box is clicked the value 2 cells to the right (which is a partial string) will be highlighted throughout the schedule. I was thinking this could be done by having conditional formatting recognize when the linked cell reads "TRUE" it would do an array search, but I have had no luck in getting this to work.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
I suppose the question is also; Is this possible with non-VBA application? If not, I am not familiar enough with writing VBA to know how to do this.
