Conditional formatting of column

I am trying to do a conditional formatting of a column so when a positave number is put into the column cell the cell will turn GREEN, if a negitave number is entered it will turn RED

Example
cell B 2 = 6 > Cell turns green
Cell B 3 = -5 > Cell turns red
ect ect....

Using Excel 03

Invoke the following formula:

=ISNUMBER($B2)*($B2 > 0)

for green;

=ISNUMBER($B2)*($B2 < 0)

for red.
