Hi all,

I'm trying to find a solution for a chart in PowerPoint, but I assume that if there's a way to do it in Excel it would also be applicable to my query.

I'm trying to achieve the following. I have a column chart and I want to force it to show only the values <3% with 1 decimal place, and all the other values with 0 decimal places. I've used conditional formatting to format data, but I can't seem to find a way to force PowerPoint to display the values based on the rule I've set. Is this even possible, or would I have to do it manually like I did for the example below?

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
  1. Is the chart in PP linked to the data in Excel, so automatically updated?
  2. Or do you copy the chart and paste it without link?
  3. Or do you create your chart in PP?

The chart was created in PP and is not linked to the data in Excel. I found out how to do it with some help:

In the chart's data sheet I had to use a custom number format and it did the job.
