Not sure if it's my syntax or order of operations but I cannot get my conditional formats to work....

Choosing: Format only cells that contain...

Cell Value>greater than>

my formula: =$Y$43-$X$41/2+$X$43

I suck at conditional formatting... always have problems... (probably because I don't do it enough).

Could one of you please take a look and let me know where I've gone wrong with the formula? Placing it in parenthesis doesn't seem to help.... =($Y$43-$X$41)/2+($X$43)???

Thanks!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
