Conditional formatting

I have an open order file. I want to give everyone who pre booked 5 months in advance a 3% discount. I have a start date column and a booked date column. Is there an easy way to highlight my cells if this formula is true. i hope this makes sense.

Use the DATEDIF function (see: https://exceljet.net/excel-functions/excel-datedif-function)

So, your Conditional Formatting formula would look something like:

=DATEDIF(B1,A1,"M")>=5

if A1 was the Start Date and B1 was the Booked Date
