I copy website source code and paste it to excel just ctrl-c, ctrl-v. It paste fine and there aren't any website rendering, just plain text as source code is. There are about 800 rows. But pasting is slow. It takes about 5 seconds to paste. I have no macros running and tried also calculation in manual but it doesn't help. What I can do to speed up pasting?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

As it can't be 'speed up' the question is why needing to paste a webpage code within Excel ?‼
Try in Notepad or any text editor …

So paste the webpage code first to any text editor …

As it should be faster, then copy only the necessary to Excel from the text editor …

download notepad++, paste code into a tab on there, save that tab as .html or .htm and it will read the code as if you were in a html editor.
