Hi,

I'm wondering if this is possible. I have a huge list of addresses from two different sources. I want to do a countif on both sources to count how many properties each list has for each road. The formula I am using is countif(range,"*roadname*"). Whilst this works, I really want to use the cell reference for the road name and drag this formula down next to all my road names. This would prevent creating a customer formula for each road. When I put the cell reference in it doesn't work as it's expecting the exact text I want to search with.

Does anyone know of a quick solution?

Thanks

Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
