Hi,

I am trying to create a formula that will count the numbers in each cell without counting the letters, for example;

2N 3N 4N 5N 6N the sum would be 5 but when I put the formula in place it would count 10.

Any ideas?

CellFormula
C2{=COUNT(LEFT($A1:$A5,1)+0)}
D2{=SUM(LEN($A1:$A5))}

Entered with Ctrl+Shift+Enter. If entered correctly, Excel will surround with curly braces {}.
Note: Do not try and enter the {} manually yourself
