I have two validation lists. The second list is dependent on what is selected from the first list using the =indirect function and defined ranges. However, when the value in list 1 is changed, the value in the second list remains unchanged, and therefore incorrect. I would like list 2 to reset or clear when list 1 is changed. Can this be done? Possibly with combo boxes instead? Thank you very much!!

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
What does your Indirect formula look like? I created a validation list based on a named range of values. When I changed the values in the named range, the validation auto updated. If I change the named range location or size, it auto updates also.
