I'm using this array formula to find the latest date in a range;

=MAX(IF('121Save'!$A$2:$A$1000=D20,('121Save'!$C$2:$C$1000)*1))

In cases where there is no date found I am getting "00/01/1900" - can this be taken out by the formula so I get something like "NO RECORD"?

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Code:
=IF(MAX(IF($A$2:$A$1000=D20,$C$2:$C$1000,""))=0,"NO RECORD",MAX(IF($A$2:$A$1000=D20,$C$2:$C$1000,"")))

This should work for now. However, I believe there could be an even smarter way to work this out.
