Hi all,

I have the following data:

Column A: Projected completion date (normal format DD/MM/YY)
Column B: Project status (either "active" or "inactive")

I want to use conditional formatting to highlight a date prior to today but only if the project status is "active". I know the formula for the first part is =A2<TODAY() but could someone help me combine this to limit it the condition in column b?

Thanks very much in advance!

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Apologies, part of the message was cut off!
