Dynamic Charts (Last 12 months)

Hi all,

I wondered if there is a way of creating automated charts without using dynamic ranges? In the past I've used formula similar to Chart the Last 12 Months Dynamically but this time I have a lot more datasets to plot and creating all the range names will take a while.

The data I have is in rows (goes along) rather than columns (goes down). I want to be able to select a month from a drop-down and then I want the chart to show the last 12 months for the data. E.g. If I select December 2016, I'd like to see January 2016 to December 2016. Ideally I'd also like to handle the circumstance where there are fewer than 12 data points.

Hope someone has a solution. Please let me know if you require more information.

Thanks for any help.
