File: Dynamic Column Identifier Formula.xlsm

I created this formula to dynamically return the column name based on the corresponding column number. That said, it works intermittently once you get to Column AA. I could understand if it was broken completely at Column AA and beyond, but I cannot figure out why it works at times and not at others. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not entirely sure where you are going with that formula, but why not just use
=SUBSTITUTE(ADDRESS(1,A1#,4),1,"")

There's no formula in that workbook, at least when it's viewed online.

Awesome, this worked perfectly! I am brand new to the new formula engine in Excel, so I am not familiar with the "#" in the column reference of you address formula. I'm assuming that triggers the spill function? Thank you for the speedy response, this is excellent!

Have a great day :)

The # indicates that A1 is the first cell in a spill range & so the formula will spill as far as there is data in col A
