Simple ET to MT formula help.
="18:00"-"2:00" works but I need to be able to point to a cell because if 18:00 was in A1 I cant do the same formula.

="A1"-"2:00" gives me a value error.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
KuraiChikara, Good afternoon.

Suppose:

A1 --> 18:00

THEN...

C1 --> A1 - "02:00" --> 16:00

Is that what you want?

I hope it helps.
