Excel Track Changes - Decimal Place Display Settings?

Hello! I currently have an Excel file (using Excel 2007 and sharing turned on) with track changes enabled. All of the numeric values in the worksheet are set to 4 decimal places. However, when we make a change to one of the values, the track change "hover-over" note, as well as the change history table, are only displaying 2 decimal places. Does anyone know of a setting within Excel to change this to 4 decimal places? Or a way I can do it with VBA? It is critical that we don't lose these values, as the data is getting entered into another system and MUST be all 4 places. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I had the same problem and the only thing I'dd came up with is the celformatting. If the cell format is not set to number but general the track changes will generate all decimals. If there another solution please let me know. Marcel
