Hi - grateful for any help.
I have a table and need to identify errors
Namely I want E2 to turn red if greater than C2...that fine but when I try to extend to look at each row in turn ie E3>c3, E4>c4 im getting some strange results....

THANKS IN ADVANCE......

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Clear any previous conditional formatting in the range you want to format

Starting at E2 select the entire range to format

Conditional Formatting
New Rule
Use a formula to determine...

=(E2>C2)

Format as red
