Filter base on another list with not exact names.

Hi All,

How do I filter a list based on another smaller list, the problem is that the names on the two lists are not exactly same, there are difference with comma, periods etc. but the first name is the same in both lists, like, BP, Devon, Diamond, etc.
I used the advanced filter but it matches the exact.
