filter tables in PQ using certain value

i would like to know, how to filter tables in PQ using single value calculated from another table!

=Table.SelectRows(MyTable, each [MyColumn]=SingleValueCreatedFromAnotherTable)

or if the value doesn't exist yet (and it should be the Max of a column for example):

=Table.SelectRows(MyTable, each [MyColumn]=List.Max(AnotherTable[AnotherColumn]) )

If you don't find a solution in there, you need to define your problem more precisely: Which table shall be filtered, what is the other table and what value shall be calculated from it.
