find a date in a column and put a daily total next to it.

I have a sheet that generates a daily sales total.

I have a column on another sheet with a list of consecutive days already created and I want a macro that finds that date in the column and puts the sales total next to it in the next column.

I'm not quite sure how to approach this? Any help would be gratefully received!
 

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view

Hi,

Why don't you simply use a basic Index/Match formula ...?
