High recently when I go to create a formula I’m no longer able move between the functions with the arrow keys. For example if I want to start a formula with the iferror function normally I would type if and then use arrow down to get to it. Now when I do that it takes me out of the cell. How can I correct this?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
There are may be following possibilities ,

1: You didn't enter "=" sign before start function.
2: You may use space bar after start "=if".
3: May be Scroll lock can disturb.

Which version you are using of excel. ?

Welcome to the MrExcel board!

Perhaps you have accidentally turned off 'Formula AutoComplete'. Have a look in File -> Options -> Formulas -> Working with formulas
