Hello,
I am looking to see if there is a formula or way to helpgenerate multiple students grade sheets based off data in a excel worksheet. Currently I have a template onanother excel document that is printed out and recorded by hand but I’m lookingto automate this process as we record multiple student’s grades.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Welcome to the Forum. I'm sure it would be possible but we would need some detailed information on exactly what data you want to transfer, where it is located and to where it should be transferred. The best way to do this is to post a screen shot of what your data looks like in both worksbooks? Section B at this link has instructions on how to post a screen shot: https://www.mrexcel.com/forum/board-announcements/127080-guidelines-forum-use.html Alternately, you could upload a copy of your 2 files to a free site such as www.box.com. or www.dropbox.com. Once you do that, mark each file for 'Sharing' and you will be given a link to each file that you can post here. Include a detailed explanation of what you would like to do referring to specific cells, rows, columns and worksheets. If the workbooks contain confidential information, you could replace it with generic data.
