Hi everyone,

I am new to Mr. Excel and needs some help with a pivot table I have a work.

I am trying to group different types (unrelated) of items in a pivot table which draws data from a large report.

The first grouping works well and no problems (see screenshot of product tracks 71196 & 93275) and groups both items. I then rename the title 'Group 1' to '71196 & 93275 ...' as seen in the screenshot.

Now I am trying to group 3 items together, (see screenshot). Note that one of the items (code: 53281) has 2 colours howver I only want to group the white colour to the other white colours and exclude the black. However, it always seems to group the blakc with it as well.

How can I group the items while excluding the black?

Thank you in advance!!

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Suggest you try a different means to upload a picture or use Excel Jeannie.
