I need some help please! Hopefully this is possible, I feel like with Excel anything is!

I need a formula that if a DATE is entered in column C, then in column B it would populate 30 days from the date in column A. If there is NOTHING in column C, then column B would just be the 30 days from the date entered in column A. Does that make sense? Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
How about
=IF(C1<>"",C1,A1)+30

It sounds like you have an entry in A1 or C1 that is NOT a date.

Enter the following formulas in any cells, and see what they return (dates are actually stored as numbers):
=ISNUMBER(A1)
=ISNUMBER(C1)

If either returns FALSE, then you do not have a valid date (number) in that cell, so you will not be able to do math on it.
