Hey guys,

Looking for some assistance as I have never used this formula before.

I have multiple accounts with various sellers. I have summarized them into pivot table. What I need is a formula to pull from the pivot table all the names that fall under a certain account.

so if account 2 in A2 says this then pull
X
Y
Z
from the pivot table.
if in A2 it says 3
X
W
G.

How does a getpivotdata work and would it be able to pull all of them?

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Getpivotdata returns values from a pivot table, not row or column information. Your description is, at least to me, extremely vague so I can't really comment further.

Thank you for your response. Sorry for being confusing. What I am looking to return is all of the customers that comprise a certain account. So if we are looking at bikes. I have in a pivot table all bikes sold to customers but would like to pull that information based on names. I had an array formula but it is slowing down the sheet quite aggressive.

Getpivotdata won't do that, I'm afraid.
