Hi guys,

Is there a way to protect an excel spreadsheet, so that users can input data in specific columns, but are restricted from changing the formatting of the cells such as size, borders.

Also how do I protect the formulas from being deleted?

Thanks

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Right click on the cells (or ranges) you want the users to have access to. Select Format Cells... > Protection > and uncheck the Locked box. Now go to the Review tab, and click Protect Sheet. Now they can only change the cells you allowed.
