If Date is current Quarter

Hello, I am looking for a formula where if the date in column B is in the current Quarter, Yes is put in column I .

Can someone give me an example of what i need to put in, have been googling but cant find what i want.

So, your formula might look something like this (in cell I2):

=IF(YEAR(B2) & ROUNDUP(MONTH(B2)/3,0)=YEAR(TODAY()) & ROUNDUP(MONTH(TODAY())/3,0),"YES","")

Create a list of dates and quarters Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 when each quarter begins, put them in a spreadsheet somewhere.
Perform a INDEX-MATCH/VLOOKUP against todays date and the table youve just created so you can return the current quarter
Perform the same INDEX-MATCH/VLOOKUP against the column B date and the table to obtain B's quarter.
Compare the results.
