IF Function across multiple sheets

Hi all,

I'm looking to pull in data across various sheets using the IF function.

I have client name in column A on sheet one
If this data matches the same name of column A within tab 3, I want it to pull data from column B from tab 3

Sounds like VLOOKUP (or INDEX/MATCH) would be the more appropriate function to use here.
