I have a 4 step flow chart to follow to put the correct item in the cell dependent on what' in previous cells. Is it possible for me to use a, long, IF statement? The flow chart will never change so I'd only need to do it once!
The flow chart is
Is it A or B

If A, is it 1 or 2.
If B, is it 3, 4, 5 or 6

If 1, is it blue, red or green
If 2, is it orange or yellow

If blue = x
If red = Y
If green = z

Thank you

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
what are the conditions for each result of X Y or Z

not sure what the TRUE or FALSE results required are

what cells are you referencing

you only seem to care if A IS 1
then output X , Y , Z depending on colour in what cell
