I want a formula which can scan a range and insert first value (number).

ValueValueValueValue
Formula to insert 1 here1
Formula to insert 2 here2
Formula to insert 3 here3
Formula to insert 4 here4

I don't want to insert all the data manually. I want to insert the data in column "A" whenever I add value from column B to Z.

In A2 the formula should scan B2:Z2 and insert the first value it founds.

P.S - I am using Google sheets.

Thanks :)

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
It's simpler than you expect :)

A2 {=B2:Z2}
A3 {=B3:Z3}
.
.
.

It's an array formula so you have to Ctrl+Shift+Enter after paste ;)
