Hello guys, I have an issue with the Vlookup formula. Pratically I need the formula To search the value corresponding to the names. I have a formula like that =Vlookup(J3;I14:J52;2;0) and it is fine it is working. The problem is that formula is working for the "quota fissa" column. In order to make it works also for the "quota variable" column i had to insert again all the number of component row. with this formula =vlookup(J3;K14:L52;2;0). So my question is: How can I set the second formula in order to remove the number second "number of components row and make it works? I want put the "quota variable" column near to "quota fissa" column but in order to do that I need a Vlookup formula that is able to read 2 areas, because in the middle (for the second formula) there is the "quota fissa" row.
Thank you guys.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
so you are looking for N00. Resident 1 and want the value 1,43 and 61,23 ?

Maybe this...
Delete the second column Number of components, so your data now are in columns I:K

Then to get Quota fissa
=VLOOKUP(J3;I14:K52;2;0)

and to get Quota variable
=VLOOKUP(J3;I14:K52;3;0)

Hope this helps

yes I want the values in the "quota fissa" and "quota variabile" But the problem with the Vlookup is that you have to define an area. If I put quota variabile row near to quota fissa row removing the row "number of component" in the middle the classic vlookup formula will not work. (for finding variables in quota variabile) The formula will not work (for quota variabile) because I will have like rows: Number of components, quota fissa, quota variabile.
