Issues when sharing a workbook

Hi. I have created a workbook with multiple sheets for each of my colleagues. There are vlookup formulas and sum formulas that pool data onto a singleaster spreadsheet that gives me an overview of how much work we have gotten through.

My issue is that when the book is unshared and on my desktop it opens perfectly. When I share it and move it to a network drive G: so all colleagues can accesses it it is 50-50 as to whether it opens or not. It flashes something along the lines of "calculating processor(s):2 0%". If it does open it takes approx 3 mins to open?

Any help is very much appreciated!

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
And do your colleagues need to see each others work? If not, I would recommend finding a non-sharing solution.

Well the layout of the workbook is so that all people can enter how they have completed there work aka "option1" or "option2"

Is there a way for them to do that without having to share the file?
