I have a worksheet where individual jobs are logged by date received (which creates a running list of dates) and need a formula to count total jobs entered by date on a separate sheet that is a calendar list of dates. Count if returns a 0 when a specific date is applied to formula.

Thank you.

alansidman, thank you for the follow up:

What I am looking for is a formula to count dates (from cell A where jobs are entered) and return total for each day to a summary tab per person (or category of choice)

Column A has a list of dates
5/1/18
5/8/18
5/4/18
this is a running list that reflects date jobs are entered into the workbook

On a separate tab, I have a summary table where I need to summarize by person how many jobs they entered on a specific date from "the jobs entered tab".

Date Operator 1 Operator 2
5/1/18 2 4
5/2/18 5 6
5/3/18
The date column (A) is a running calendar list (networkdays) that does not include weekends.

Thanks for the help!
