Hello forum friends, I am trying to create an IF statement and again, I can't seem to get the syntax right. I have a cell (F9) that will either be blank, have an 'M' in it or have an 'F' in it.

In another cell, I have the formula (shown below) to return 'him' or 'her' based on the entry in cell F9. The problem is when cell F9 is blank, my formula returns 'her' and I would like it to return 'them'.

Not sure how to do this.

Cheers!

Code:
=IF(F9="M","him","her")
