I am sorting a large amount of data 9,000 rows. I select all the data and perform a sort on col A, part of the data sorts then I must re run the sort over about 8 times to finally acchieve a full sort of the 9,000 rows even tho all the rows are selected each time. I am using col A as the sort column. Any information on this problem?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
How are you filtering, with auto-filter?

Are there rows with no data at all in them, that tends to mess auto-filter up
