Odd Page Setup / Print Preview Problem

My father-in-law phoned me with an issue he is having with all of his Excel documents, old and new. Each document seems to cut off at column B when he prints or checks print preview. I walked him through how page setup works. I had him check the print area, and sure enough it was set to cut off at column B. I had him clear this out, then save the document and send to me. When I open it (on 2 different computers) it looks fine and all fits to one page. On his computer, it still cuts off at column B, as do all of his Excel documents. I am stumped, and would appreciate any suggestions!
