Pivot's Calculated Item: Can it use data from a different column?

Hi all,

I haven’t been able to find an answer on this. I have apivot and I need a calculated item to consider the value in the previous column.Meaning: if Columns G and H were June and July respectively, I need the calculateditem result in Col H to consider a value in Col G in the math.



Is this something that can be done, or are calculated itemscolumn specific?

Something can be done. Somehow.

One way is to define the new field in the set up of the table. This is not a familiar calculated item and is more powerful.
