Hello.

I'm not 100% sure if what I'm trying to achieve is possible in the way that I'm trying to do it, but any guidance on how to start would be much appreciated.

Basically my goal is to create a workflow chart to standardize the tasks for specific processes.
I have the column "Tasks" B:B and I'm trying to use a data validation to select ("Task 1", "Task 2", "Task 3")
After making that selection I'd like to auto-populate the Steps for each task underneath and clear the formatting.
The tasks have a different number of steps and some steps/wording overlap (IE. All Tasks have a "Issue PO" Step)

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Hello, please provide an example of the data. I understand you have a list of tasks in column B, but I'm unclear on what the auto-populated steps for each task would like like. Also, what is the data validation that would select a task?
