I'm in the middle of creating a vacation calendar that will allow employees to lookup what is available but what I would like to do is allow them to use a submit button to enter there unique ID to that particular day. So for example on Jan 1 we can have 2 people off in the garage and 1 person off in the office. Is it possible to use a populate an open cell with Jan 1 in office or garage? So each day has different departments, so if they put the date in one cell, garage in the other and click submit it would then populate one of the blank cell that would fill a space for that day.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.

Basically I want to auto populate a blank cell within a range of cells with a specific row on another sheet.
