Is it possible to read and display formatted text from an external text file into a text box object of some kind, or the worksheet cells themselves? The only formatting I need is font type, size, and bold/italics. I was thinking there must be a way to read an HTML file that contains the formatting data and display it, but so far I cannot find a text box object that supports formatted text. The ActiveX text box will read from external files but doesn't seem to support any type of formatting. The standard Excel text box supports the required formatting but I don't know how to encode that into the source file. Any ideas?
