General Question.

What is the better option to be using as a data source, a csv file OR a table in an xlsm file?

Is there any refresh speed difference by using one over the other?

Thank you in advance!

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I don't know that there is any significant difference if the files are of the same approximate size.

Csv loads faster then any xlsx format.
Google it, there are articles about the differences in performance.
