Hi all,

First time posting so sorry if I miss out info you require.

I am working on some bank ledgers in excel, some of which date back to 2005. These are updated by the bank weekly and forwarded to me.

I was wondering whether there was any way in which to automatically sift out the information I require (i.e only the 2011 figures) and print out? Currently, every week I go through the ledger and change the print area to fit what I need which can be a bit tedious if there are only a few movements.

Thanks for your help in advance

If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Hi, thanks for a quick reply.

Not sure it's so simple as that as the bank will put date format as dd/mm/yyyy. Is there a way of just selecting 2011 from that format?

Hi,

Depending on what version of Excel you are using, in 2007+ you can filter by dates so you can filter "after" for example, 31/12/2010.....

If you are using earlier versions, Excel does not have this function but there are ways rond this - post back if you have an earlier version;)

Cheers,
Ian
