Hi guys,

I need to figure out a way to enter a cell reference in every nth cell. Is there a macro or cell reference function I could use for this?

Example: cell AA is referenced in cell BB, cell AB is referenced in cell B4, cell AC is referenced in B6.... and so on. I want to reference the cells in column A to every 2nd cell in column B.

Thank you in advance for the help.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
B2: =IFERROR(IF(MOD(ROWS(B$2:B2),N)=1,INDEX(A$1:A$5,1+(ROWS(B$2:B2)-1)/N),""),"")

where N is your required spacing, e.g. 2.
